Someone asked me how they could get their own Cockpit. That's the whole reason this is a product. Here's the part that matters more than my name: I've spent since 2007 managing projects, people and change in corporate IT, and I still do it every day. Cloudbase is that discipline with the committee removed.
I have a day job and a pile of projects on the side, and for years I ran all of it out of a Flask app on a server under a different name. Projects first, then mileage because of the driving, then tickets because things kept getting lost in text messages, then time because I genuinely didn't know where my week went.
Every instrument here exists because I needed it on a specific Tuesday. That's the whole design method, and it's why the app has odometer fields and a not-billable default: real work has those, product demos don't.
I'm not raising money and I'm not hiring a growth team. There's no roadmap pressure to add a feed or a chat or an AI that summarizes your meetings without asking. If this ever gets big enough to need help, I'll say so out loud on the Runway.
The whole pitch: you are not like everyone else, so software that assumes you are will always cost you something.
